Centers Across the Country

The Calendar Center of the University of Tehran is in charge of the extraction and adjustment of the formal calendar of the Country.

The National Seismological Center undertakes the duty of quick and round-the-clock information dissemination about earthquakes at a national level. This Center has 11 seismological networks including 60 three-component stations and 4 seismological bases.

The Research Center for Earthquake Precursors (RCEP) was established in 2005 and consists of a council and seven scientific committees from related organizations. RCEP is officially responsible for monitoring and analyzing the earthquake precursors in Iran.
