Research Orientation

The main goal of IBB is to train experts in bimolecular areas and to increase Iran’s participation in the global network of knowledge production in this significant science. The main achievements of IBB programs include:

1. In less than 2 decades, IBB has published 717 scientific papers: 545 full articles, 7 review articles and 165 article abstracts which have been indexed in Thompson Scientific Database (ISI).
2. Increasing Iran’s global share of knowledge production and international scientific participation in various bioscience fields
3. Developing the scientific research basis to improve biotechnology based on native knowledge
4. Attracting international funds in areas of biosciences
