Future Prospects

As the topic of environmental protection is a very diverse and rapidly developing/transforming topic, the Faculty of Environment plans to address these issues by establishing new departments and new initiatives, few of which are as follows:

1. A new department and M.Sc. program in Energy and Environment
2. A new department and M.Sc. program in Environmental Sciences
3. A joint M.Sc. Program in Environmental Law, with the University of Tehran’s Faculty of Law
4. A new department and M.Sc. program in Marine Biology
5. Joint research on environmental issues with international institutions
