About the Center
The Center for Graduate International Studies (CGIS) was established in 1965 and is the first Iranian academic center dedicated to training and conducting research on international affairs. Up to 1979, the CGIS was annually admitting about 15 students to the M.A. program in International Relations. Later on, the educational activities of CGIS were assigned to the Department of International Relations of the Faculty of Law and Political Science, and currently, the Center focuses solely on research.
