Polish archaeologist Barbara Kaim honored in Tehran

Appreciating her lifetime research on Iranian ancient history, Polish ‎archaeologist Professor Barbara Kaim was honored at a ceremony in University of ‎Tehran, Faculty of Literature and Humanities on 22 September, 2019.

According to IBNA correspondent, a full professor of University of Warsaw, Institute of Archaeology, Kaim has extensively contributed to research on Iranian ancient history particularly architecture during Sassanid dynasty, ideology in Iranian art, and history of central Asia. She has been the head of the Polish Archaeological Mission in Iran and Central Asia.
