Two UT Faculty Members selected as members of Iranian National Commission for UNESCO

Prof. Reza Faraji Dana, faculty member of the College of Engineering and Prof. Mohammad Reza Saeid Abadi , Associate Professor of the Faculty of World Studies,  University of Tehran were selected as the real members of the Supreme Council of the Iranian National Commission of UNESCO by the communiqué  of H.E. Prof. Mansour Gholami, Minister of Science , Research and Technology  of I.R. of Iran for three years.

According to the Article 4 of the Constitution of Iranian National Commission for UNESCO, Supreme Council is the highest decision making authority of the Commission and has 14 real and legal members.

Minister of Science, Research and Technology, [As the President of Supreme Council] ,Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance , Minister  of Education, President of Department of Environment , President of IRIB and Secretary General for Iranian National Commission for UNESCO are the legal members  of the Supreme Council and seven scientific and cultural personalities are selected as real members for three years.
