UT Faculty of Entrepreneurship was granted the MWEDA 2018 Award

It is with great pleasure that we show our veneration for your incontestable contribution to the development in the Muslim world. Your drive makes a difference and produces a positive impact on people’s lives, mainly within the Muslim world. We are extremely honored to commemorate all your achievements by presenting the Muslim World Entrepreneur Developemnt Award 2018(MWEDA) to you this year.
This award is honored by the international business and investment magazine, OIC TODAY, and it is presented every year during a special ceremony in conjunction with the soft launch of the annual leading trade exhibition and conference the Muslim World biz- Business and Investment Zone. The event is organized by the OIC International Business Center in collaboration with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Jeddah, Islamic Center for Development of Trade (ICDT) in Morocco, the Association of Arab Universities (AARU) in Jordan and it is ultimately supported by the Government of Malaysia.
The Muslim World BIZ is being organized since 2010 with the objectives of elevating the status of the overall Islamic economy and enhancing the intra activities between the 57 OIC member countries in various industries across different sectors, and the outcomes are satisfactory. This would not have been accomplished without inspirational leaders who envision the future, initiate a favorable change, and guide others towards successful implementation. We believe that presenting the award to you would energies the participants in the event this year to excel in their personal as well as business endeavors.
The establishment of this award is to recognize the role of outstanding entrepreneurs and their business have contributed towards the growth of nation and Muslim world at large. In line with the Government’s initiative to nurture home grown talented entrepreneurs.
We believe this recognition would inspire and encourage others to further develop in their field of expertise and continue to support the economic growth of their nation and Muslim World.
