A French professor visits UT

Professor, Claudine Gauthier from School for Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences, Bordeaux University, met  Prof. Mohamamd Bagher Ghahramani, Vice-President for International Affairs, University of Tehran.  In the meeting, Prof. Afshin Akhondzadeh Basti, Director General for International Students, Abdolmajid Eskandari, Director General for Office of International Relations and Ms. Nasibeh Moradian, Expert of the Office of International Relations were present as well.

During the meeting, Professor Claudine Gauthier explained about the capacity of her related School in promoting the academic collaboration between the two institutions. She further suggested to launch the cooperation for Erasmus+ in order to exchange professors, students and staff, a program which is funded by EU. The proposals made by the French professor were received warmly and it was decided to sign the related papers in the near future to fulfill the mentioned objectives.
