A high ranking delegation from Renmin University of China (RUC) visits UT

On 23 October, 2018, a high ranking delegation from Renmin University of China (RUC), one of the leading universities in China in the areas of humanities and social sciences paid a visit to UT.

In the first part of their visit, the delegation led by Prof. Du Peng, Vice President of Renmin University of China (RUC) met Prof. Nili Ahmadabadi, President of University of Tehran.

The other members of delegation were comprised of following officials:

• Wang Wen, Executive Dean of Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies, Renmin University of China (RDCY), Vice President of Silk Road School
• Zhang Damiao, Deputy Director of International Office, Renmin University of China
• Wang Yu, Section Chief, International Office, Renmin University of China
• Yang Qingqing, Director of Research Cooperation Department, RDCY
• Zhang Haojun, Research Assistant, RDCY

In the meeting, both sides exchanged ideas on exchange of information, summer schools, mobility, exchange of students and staff, joint publication, and other areas of interest.

The delegation also visited Central Library and Documentation Center and Faculty of World Studies as well.
