UT Joint Workshop with Al-Mustansiriyah University of Iraq

A two-day joint workshop was held at Faculty of Literature and Humanities, UT in association with Al- Mustansiriyah University of Iraq.

In line with the MoU signed between the two universities, the Iranian and Iraqi participants discussed various issues such as the problems of translation of Arabic texts into other foreign languages, Arabic poetry, psychological problems affecting the translation activities and employing modern technologies in analysis the literary texts. In the last day of the workshop, the Iraqi professors talked to their colleagues about the exchange of students within the framework of scholarships, sabbatical leave and research stay.
