President of Asia Pacific Quality Network (APQN) visits University of Tehran

On 12 May, 2018, Prof. Dr. Jianxin Zhang , President of Aisa Pacific Quality Network (APQN) met Prof.  Omid Fatemi, Director of University of Tehran eLearning Center. During this meeting which was held in the presence of Prof. Abbas Bazargan, and Abdolmajid Eskandari, Director General , Office of International Relations , University of Tehran, both sides exchanged ideas on the promotion of collaboration between UT and in particular E-Learning Center and APQN.

 The Asia-Pacific Quality Network (APQN) was founded in 2003 with the purpose of serving the needs of quality assurance agencies in higher education in a region that contains over half the world’s population. The Asia-Pacific Quality Network was established with the support from World Bank and UNESCO. APQN Mission Statement is to enhance the quality of higher education in Asia and the Pacific region through strengthening the work of quality assurance agencies and extending the cooperation between them.
