Ambassador of Poland meets UT President
On 17 April, 2018, Mr. JaroslawMarchin Domanski, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland met Prof. Mahmoud Nili Ahmadabadi, President of University of Tehran.
In this meeting both sides exchanged ideas on the ways of promoting academic ties between UT and Polish universities. Given the cultural agreements between the two countries and two MoU signed by University of Tehran and University of Warsaw and University of Krakow and also previous cooperation, Ambassador of Poland expressed its hope for further collaboration. Polish ambassador also expressed the interest of his country for the possibility of presenting Polish language at UT.
In response and with a reference to historical ties between the two countries, Prof. Nili Ahmadabadi also voiced the readiness of UT to work on activating the already-signed MoU’s and making a feasibility study on presenting Polish language.
It is worth noting that so far so many students have been exchanged within the framework of MoU and in particular Erasmus Mundus projects. Also a great number of Polish students have studied Persian language at International Center for Persian Studies and there is an active cooperation between the two mentioned universities and University of Tehran.
