A Malaysian delegation from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) visited Faculty of Entrepreneurship

On 24 February, 2018, a delegation from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) paid a visit to Faculty of Entrepreneurship, University of Tehran and met Prof. Zali, Dean of the Faculty and his colleague. The Malaysian delegation was comprised of the following officials:

  1. Dr. Siti Zaleha Binti Abdul Rasid, Associate Professor , Azman Hashim International Business School ,  Deputy Dean , Academic and Student Development
  2. Dr. Rosmini Binti Omar , Associate Professor, Professor , Azman Hashim International Business School, Deputy Dean , Research , Innovation , Commercialization and Network
  3. Dr. Rohaida Binti Basiruddin, Senior Lecturer,.

The UT host delegation included the following faculty members and officials:

Prof. Afsaneh Bagheri , Prof. Babak Zia , Prof. Mohammad Ali Moradi , Prof. Arasti, Prof. Imanipour, Prof. Jamili , Prof. Kambiz Talebi and Abdolmajid Eskandari, Director General, Office of International Relations, University of Tehran.

In this meeting, first both sides introduced their universities and their affiliated faculties. Having further reviewed the areas of mutual collaboration, both sides In particular expressed their interest to work on a joint project on Entrepreneurship Beyond Borders.  Furthermore, they emphasized on the necessity of signing a MoU between the two universities in near future to serve as a platform academic cooperation, exchange of students and faculty member in the various branches of entrepreneurship. 

It is worth noting that Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) is a leading innovation-driven entrepreneurial research university in engineering science and technology located both in Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia and Johor Bahru, the southern city in Iskandar Malaysia, which is a vibrant economic corridor in the south of Peninsular Malaysia.
