Representatives of University of Tehran attended the International Workshop of Erasmus+ in Spain

Prof.  Afshin Akondzadeh Basti , Director General for International Students and Prof. Cyrus Zamani, Advisor to the Dean of the College of Engineering on International Affairs attended  the Erasmus Plus Workshop organized by  A4U universities from Sunday, 10 December to Saturday, 16 December 2017.

Alliance of 4 Spanish Universities (A4U) is a strategic partnership of four leading Spanish public universities: Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM), Universidad Carlos III in Madrid (UC3M) and Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona (UPF).

 These universities are characterized by excellence in teaching and research and a strong international outlook, for which they have all received the recognition of "Campus of International Excellence" by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation.

A4U universities are in 2018 Top 50 Under 50 QS Ranking. The Alliance reinforces the strategic axis Madrid-Barcelona, two of the most R&D and innovation intensive regions in Spain/Europe.

As a consortium, these four universities actively seek to establish research collaboration partnerships worldwide, to enhance international mobility of students, researchers and academics, and to promote their English-taught undergraduate and postgraduate programs. A4U has the support of the Spanish government through its agreements with the Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade. Iran is one of the priority countries in the internationalization strategy of A4U universities.
