President of University of Tehran visited Yunnan University, P.R. of China

Prof. Mahmoud Nili Ahmadabadi, President of University of Tehran visited Yunnan University, P.R. of China on 14-16 December, 2017.

President Nili Ahmadabadi was accompanied by Prof. Mohamamd Bagher Ghahramani, Vice President for International Affairs and Prof. Afshin Bazrafshan, UT Iranian Director of Confucius Institute and Prof. Youef Hojat, Scientific Attaché of I. R. of Iran in China.

The UT delegation and Scientific Attaché of I.R. of Iran in China also visited the new campus of Yunnan University, library and labs and were briefed about the development plan of Yunnan University.

They also attended the Joint Council of Confucius Institute and exchanged ideas about the exchange of professors and students with the support of Confucius Institute and both University of Tehran and Yunnan University. President Nili Ahmadabadi, Prof. Ghahramani , the Vice President for Int. Affairs and Prof. Bazrafshan also presented a lecture there.

Finally, in a ceremony in the presence of Yunnan University authorities, and in recognition of the academic achievements, the Plaque of Honorary Professorship of Yunnan University was awarded to Prof. Mahmoud Nili Ahmadabadi, the President of University of Tehran.
