The 32nd AUAP Conference and The 42nd AUAP Executive Board Meeting

The 32nd Annual Conference of AUAP and The 42^nd AUAP Executive Board Meeting were held in the historic city of Xian, China on November 7-10, 2017. This events were hosted by Xian International University, a private university of about 22,000 students population on three Campuses of XAIU. More than 60 student ambassadors have been involved during the conference and more than 200 students attend the opening session on November 8. Professor Dr. Aimin Chen, President of Xian International University (XAIU) and Treasurer of AUAP coordinated the activities which started with a welcome dinner on November 7, followed by an Opening Ceremony the following day . This was graced by the presence of the Chairman of the university, Dr. Teng Huang. A total of 66 delegates of 24 universities from 17 countries attend the four-day event. The 42^nd AUAP Executive Board meeting was also held on 8 November, 2018. At present, Prof. Sung-hee Nam, President of Daegu Health College, Korea is the President of AUAP and Prof. Mahmoud Nili Ahmadabadi, President of University of Tehran is the First Vice President of AUAP.

The Association of Universities of Asia and the Pacific (AUAP) is an association of university chief executives from higher education institutions in Asia Pacific and around the world. Membership is to those individuals who serve as presidents, rectors or vice-chancellors at regionally accredited colleges or universities, privates sectors and international organizations.
