Chargé d'affaires of Embassy of Chile in Iran met withb the Vice President for International Affairs

On 14 November, 2017, Mr. Mauricio Carabelli, Charge d’ Affaires of Embassy of Chile in Iran met with Prof. Mohammad Bagher Ghahramani, Vice President for International Affairs. In this meeting, Mr. Carabelli stated that his purpose of visit to UT was to get more familiar with University of Tehran and exchange ideas on the expansion of academic cooperation between University of Tehran and universities in Chile.

Referring to the previous collaboration and the MoU’s signed between UT and some universities in Chile, Prof. Ghahramani voiced the readiness of UT to expand further ties with Chile and explained about some areas of interest within the international programs of Universityof Tehran.  In reply,  Mr. Carabelli also expressed his support for the suggested programs and both sides decided to work on various areas such as sabbatical leave for the professors of both sides, student exchange, presentation of lecture by Chile authorities on economics, politics, and active particiation in International Festival of UT by the Chilean side.
