A high ranking delegation from Afghanistan visited University of Tehran

A high ranking delegation led by Prof. Hamidullah Farooqi , Chancellor of Kabul University and Advisor Minister to the President comprised of Dr. Lal Pacha Azmoon , Senior Advisor to the President of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and Dr. Mohammad Aslam Nasimi, Dean of the Faculty of Language and Literature at Kabul university met with Prof. Mahmoud Nili Ahmadabadi, the President of University of Tehran and some other officials at UT.

During the meeting , both sides agreed upon to form a working group in each university  to pursue the followings:

• Exchange of students and faculty members 
• sabbatical leave and research stay
• Establishment and mutual collaboration among research centers 
• Exchange of experience on the structure of research and education
• Exchange of academic materials
• Working on the mutual areas of interest of both universities 

At the end of the meeting, a new MoU was signed by the two sides. It is worth noting that the delegation also met with Prof. Ghahramani ,  Vice President for Int. Affairs and Prof. Hoseini  Vice President for Academic Affairs prior to their meeting with the President of University of Tehran. The delegation was accompanied by a number of high ranking officials from Islamic Culture and Communication Organization.
