University of Tehran's plan to attract maximum students from China
Dr. Hamed Vafaei, Deputy Director General, Office of International Relations at University of Tehran and Professor of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literature, was present at these two international events as part of a delegation headed by Dr. Saeed Habiba, Head of the Student Organization of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology and Deputy Minister, along with representatives from Shahid Beheshti, Sharif University of Technology, Tarbiat Modares, Isfahan, Shiraz, and Mazandaran Universities.

Vafaei reminded: The University of Tehran is preparing a roadmap to attract maximum students from China, based on the university's internationalization programs and the goals set by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, and the two general Offices of international Relations and the international students and academic staff are planning in this regard in positive interaction with other departments of the university, and his presence on this trip was also part of this framework.
During the China Higher Education Exhibition, representatives from the most important universities in the United States, England, Russia, France, the United Arab Emirates, Central Asian countries, and a number of African countries were present. During the meeting, Dr. Habiba proposed holding a summit of top Iranian and Chinese universities hosted by the University of Tehran, which was welcomed by the Chinese side. He also spoke about the Iranian Ministry of Science's plan to attract more than three hundred thousand foreign students and announced that Tehran believes that a significant portion of this number should be Chinese students.
In this meeting, the president of Peking University, referring to the historical interactions of this research center with the University of Tehran, said: "The cooperation between Peking University and the University of Tehran has a long history, and we are seeking to expand and deepen this cooperation."

During this meeting, the potential for interaction between the Faculty of World Studies, the Faculties of Foreign Languages and Literature, and the Faculties of Law and Political Science of the University of Tehran with this Chinese university was also discussed and exchanged.
Relations between the University of Tehran and Beijing Language and Culture University are expanding
International representatives of the country's universities during this trip also attended Beijing Language and Culture University and discussed and exchanged views with Dr. Peng Duan, the president of this university.
