Dr. Seyed Ahmad Fazelzadeh, ISC president, said: According to the data obtained from Web of Science, the scientific productions of the Islamic Republic of Iran in all fields of quantum technology have taken the first place among the leading Islamic countries.
According to McKinsey's insight store (2023), China has invested more than 15 billion dollars in credit for quantum superiority, the European Union has invested more than 8 billion dollars, and the United States has invested nearly 4 billion dollars in this field. China's quantum budget is more than the total quantum budget of the United States of America and its allied countries. As can be seen, industrialized countries consider quantum technology to be important in the future of the world, and with large investments in this field, they are trying to stabilize their position in the quantum industry.
Iran has ranked in quantum remote sensing technology. The I.R of Iran has taken the eighth place in the world and the first place among the Islamic countries. The world ranking of the Islamic Republic of Iran in photonic network technologies is 17, superconducting circuit 18, spin qubit 16, neutral atoms (cold) 21, trapped ions 19, Quantum key distribution 24, quantum repeater 26, Quantum clock 12, Quantum imaging 14 and quantum radar 15.
According to Web of Science, the scientific productions of the Islamic Republic of Iran in all fields of quantum technology have taken the first place among the leading Islamic countries.
Accordingly, in photonic network, Sharif University of Technology, Islamic Azad University Tabriz branch and Islamic Azad University Science and Research Branch are ranked first to third. In superconducting circuits, Shahed University, Sharif University of Technology and Shahrood University of Technology ranked first to third; in rotating qubit technology, University of Tehran, Semnan University and Tabriz University ranked first to third; In neutral atoms technology, Imam Khomeini International University, Maragheh University and University of Tehran ranked first to third; in technology of trapped ions, Sharif University of Technology, University of Tehran and Shahid Beheshti University ranked first to third; in quantum key distribution technology, Sharif University of Technology, University of Tehran and University of Yazd ranked first to third; in quantum remote sensing technology, Yazd University, University of Tehran and Mohaghegh Ardabili University ranked first to third; in quantum repeater technology, Yazd University and Shahid Beheshti University ranked first and second; In quantum clock technology, Mazandaran University, Islamic Azad University, Tabriz branch and Islamic Azad University Central Tehran Branch ranked first to third; in quantum imaging technology, Tarbiat Modares University, Tabriz University of Medical Sciences and Tehran University of Medical Sciences ranked first to third and in quantum radar technology, Urmia University, University of Tehran and Sharif University of Technology ranked first to third.
