A high ranking delegation from Yunnan University, China visited University of Tehran

A high ranking delegation led by Prof. Zhang Li, Vice President of Yunnan University, China paid a visit to University of Tehran this week. The delegation met with Prof. Haghroosta, the Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literature and Prof. Ameli, Dean of the Faculty of World Studies on 18 July, 2016.

The delegation also met with Prof. Nili Ahmadabadi ,  the President of UT on 19 July in a meeting in the presence of Prof. Ghahramani, Vice President for International Affairs and Prof. Sadigh ,Vice President for Planning.

Yunnan University as a partner University has started cooperation with University of Tehran since 2007 on diverse scope of activities in particular Confucius Institute. During the meeting with President Nili , the program of cooperation within the framework of Confucius Institute was reviewed and both sides made various decisions on promoting bilateral ties. The main areas of cooperation which were discussed in this meeting  was on exchange of students and professors, holding joint conferences, promoting cooperation on Chinese and Persian languages, and holing HSK test in UT ( HSK ,the Chinese Proficiency Test is an international standardized exam which tests and rates Chinese language proficiency).
