Ambassador of India met with the President of University o f Tehran

Dr. Saurabh Kumar met with Prof. Nili Ahmadabadi, the President of University of Tehran. Referring to old-established friendly relations between the two countries, both sides expressed their desires for the expansion of academic ties between University of Tehran and universities in India. In particular, the two sides agreed upon working on dispatching a professor by India to University of Tehran to cooperate with the Department of Indian Studies at Faculty of World Studies in addition to mutual participation of faculty members and students of both sides in cultural and academic events.
