UNAN Rector meets with UT Vice President for International Affairs

On Saturday 21 January 2023 Mr. Isaac Lenin Bravo Jaen, the ambassador of Nicaragua to the Islamic Republic of Iran, together with Prof. Ramona Rodríguez, the Rector of the National Autonomous University of Nicaragua (UNAN), met with Prof. Marandi, Vice President for International  Affairs at the University of Tehran.

In this meeting, the two sides discussed about different topics including: Iranian studies at Nicaragua , Holding online meetings or physical attendance of UT faculty members in the field of regional and Middle East studies at Managua , exchange of professors and students, exchange of experience in the fields of science and technology parks, oil, agriculture ,entrepreneurship and other  areas of interest.

Abdolmajid Eskandari, Director-General of Office of International Relations, Dr. Elaheh Nouri Gholamzadeh, a member of the academic staff of the Faculty of World Studies, and Prof. Shobeiri were present in the meeting.

At the end of the meeting, the two sides signed   the new Memorandum of Understanding between the University of Tehran and the National Autonomous University of Nicaragua.
