Prof. SANO Tosei from Ryukoku University , Japan met with Prof. Ghahrmani, Vice President for International Affairs, University of Tehran

In this meeting which was held in the presence of Prof. Vaezi, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs at the Faculty of Theology and Islamic Sciences, Prof. Nejad, Deputy Director General for Policy and Planning, Prof. Keivanpanah, Deputy Director General for International Students and Abdolmajid Eskandari, Director General for International Relations, both sides expressed their readiness to expand academic ties within the framework of the MoU signed between the two universities. Prof. SANO , a faculty member of the Department of Intercultural Communication, Faculty of International Studies in Ryukoku University also stated that his university is interested in having the professors of University of Tehran to do their sabbatical leave or help with the teaching in particular on comparative religious studies, languages and Japanese and Persian studies in Ryukoku university. In the end of the meeting , it was decided that a specialized meeting to be held between Prof. SANO and his colleagues at the Faculty of Theology and Islamic Studies and the Faculties of World Studies, Foreign Languages and Literature and Law and Political Sciences to be put in contact for further discussion on mutual academic cooperation.
