Prof. Amir Arjomand, the representative of State University of New York Stony Brook met with Prof. Mohamamd Bagher Ghahramani, Vice President for International Affairs, University of Tehran

In this meeting which was held in the presence of Prof. Takhshid, Dean of Faculty of Law and Political Sciences and Prof. Noorbaksh, Dean of Faculty of Social Sciences and Abdolmajid Eskandari, Director General, Office of International Relations, both sides exchanged ideas on various ways of promoting academic cooperation in particular on joint research projects, editorial board of specialized journals, holding joint seminars, exchange of students and professors for sabbatical leaves. In the end of the meeting and following previous correspondences, it was also decided to sign a MoU between the two universities for starting mutual cooperation in near future.
