University of Tehran ranked first at national level in URAP ranking system

According to the 2015-2016 results of URAP ranking system, University of Tehran ranked 331 in the world and 55 in Asia and for the fifth time, it ranked first at the national level. Thus the rank of UT in the world and Asia has promoted three and one step higher respectively as compared with the previous year. URAP is an academic ranking system which emphasizes on the academic quality.

University Ranking by Academic Performance (URAP) Research Laboratory was established at Informatics Institute of Middle East Technical University in 2009. Main objective of URAP is to develop a ranking system for the world universities based on academic performances which determined by quality and quantity of scholarly publications.
