The meeting of German universities graduates was held in University of Tehran

This meeting was held on 26 January, 2016 with the participation of a noticeable number of University of Tehran faculty members and officials who were the graduates of German universities. During this meeting several reports on the ways to expand academic ties with German universities were presented by Prof. Ghahramani, Vice President for International Affairs, Prof. Nejat, Deputy Director General for Planning and Policy Making and Abdolmajid Eskandari, Director General, Office of International Relations.

The key note speaker of the meeting was Prof. Mahmoud Nili Ahmadabadi, the President of University of Tehran. Explaining three objectives of UT in the third development plan, i. e. entrepreneurship, internationalization of university and ethic and responsibility taking, he stated that UT has the broadest rate of international activities in the country. He further added that after lifting the sanctions, it is necessary to use the capacities of new condition. UT has had much cooperation with German universities and it is necessary to deepen academic relations with that country.

At the end of the meeting, some faculty members expressed their experiences from German universities and gave ideas on the ways of promoting academic ties.
