A meeting to follow up UT cooperation with Confucius Institute

This meeting was held in the presence of Chinese teachers and local manager of Confucius Institute (Branch of University of Tehran) and the Dean of Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literature and Vice President for International Affairs.

The main areas of discussion was on ways to boost cooperation with the Confucius Institute Headquarter, expanding of Chinese language teachings to other sectors of the society including commercial people, Chinese language in primary schools and high schools for the future, holding cultural programs, festivals, holding the specialized test of Chinese language (HSK), negotiation with Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the establishment of Chinese Studies Research Center, arranging short visits to Chinese universities and exchange of students and scholars with the partner university in China in line with the objectives of Confucius institute.
