Delegation of University of Belgrade, Serbia visits UT
On 7 May, 2022, a high ranking delegation from University of Belgrade, Serbia led Prof. Vladan Djokic, Rector of University of Belgrade visited University of Tehran.
The delegation visited UT affiliated unites as follows:
15:00- 16:00 Visit to Central Library and Documentation Center
16 :00-17:00 Visit to Faculty of Law and Political Science
17:00-18:00 Visit to Faculty of Persian Literature and Humanities
18:00-19:00 Visit to College of Engineering
At 19:00-20:00, Prof. Vladan Djokic, Rector of University of Belgrade met with Prof. Seyed Mohammad Moghimi, President of University of Tehran. During the meeting which was held in the presence of Prof. Marandi, Vice President for International Affairs, other officials and representatives from College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Faculty of Entrepreneurship and College of Engineering, both sides exchanged ideas on establishment of academic ties. At the end of the program, a MoU was signed which will serve as a platform for future collaboration.
At 20:00 the delegation had their dinner at UT club hosted by University of Tehran.

Tehran, Belgrade universities sign cooperation MoU
TEHRAN, May 08 (MNA) – Iran's University of Tehran and Serbia's University of Belgrade have signed a cooperation memorandum of understanding.
The MoU was signed during the meeting between the President of the University of Tehran Seyed Mohammad Moghimi and the President of the University of Belgrade.
Moghimi expressed hope that the MoU would be used to expand scientific cooperation between the two countries.
The University of Tehran is interested in cooperating in the field of study opportunities, conducting interdisciplinary research between professors of the two universities, as well as exchanging professors and students with the University of Belgrade, he added.
The president of the University of Belgrade, for his part, said that the cooperation would be done with the serious support of the embassies of the two countries, adding that the MoU is also the beginning of the relationship between the two nations of Iran and Serbia.
The University of Belgrade is a public university in Serbia. It is the oldest and largest modern university in Serbia.
