The 3rd International Conference on Sensors and Models in Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (SMPR 2015)

The 3rd International Conference on Sensors and Models in Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (SMPR 2015) is being held by School of Surveying and Geospatial Engineering, College of Engineering, University of Tehran jointly with German Space Center (DLR), German Geoscience Research Center (GFZ) and University of Applied Science Stuttgart. The workshop will be held today and the conference starts Nov. 23, 2015 and will be continued till Nov. 25, 2015. The Conference venue is the University of Tehran International Campus, Kish Island. About 200 people from different countries such as Canada, Germany, France, The Netherlands, UK, Norway, Spain, Switzerland, Portugal, Italy, Turkey, India, Pakistan, and Iran have attended the conference. The conference includes plenary sessions, oral presentations, poster presentation and workshops. Current state-of-the-art in Geoscience related disciplines with significant focus on "Geo-Information Modeling and Environmental Monitoring" is taken into account in SMPR 2015.

Accordingly, applications and research activities reporting an algorithm or a method for modeling surface features as well as monitoring the changes such as natural/man-made disasters, based on earth observation or ground based techniques are being investigated in SMPR 2015.
