Martin Schulz, the President of the European Parliament meets with Prof. Nili Ahmadabadi, the President of University of Tehran

Martin Shulz met with President Nili Ahmadabadi on 7 November, 2015. He was received warmly by a number of faculty members and officials including Vice President for International Affairs, Cultural Affairs, deans of college of Fine Arts, Language and Literature. In this meeting Mr. Shulz stated: I attach great significance to academic community and universities. Now there is a good opportunity to extend academic cooperation. I wish I could talk with students too and hope to do it in my future visits.

Prof. Nili, the President of UT also pointed out the basic policy of university which is the internationalization of programs with a view to academic diplomacy. He added these visits will help to learn about each other more. Other officials in the meeting also expressed their experience of academic working with European universities and expressed their intention for further ties.
