Syrian Ambassador Meets with President of University of Tehran
Dr. Adnan Mahmoud, Syrian ambassador to Tehran met with Prof. Mahnoud Nili Ahmadabadi, the President of University of Tehran. On 21st October, 2015. In this meeting, both officials exchanged ides on holding joint courses, researches, conferences, workshops and special courses on Arabic, English and Persian.
Syrian ambassador requested the renewal of MoU’s between University of Tehran and Syrian universities and emphasized on the necessity of implementing the contents of them. In part of his discussion, Syrian ambassador stated that the enemies have attacked the research and academic institutions and imposed many damages and we expect further cooperation between University of Tehran and Syrian universities.
President Nili Ahmadabadi, also expressed the readiness of UT to promote ties with Syrian universities and suggested to define a practical framework to cooperate in the areas of mutual interest. In this meeting, the Dean of Faculty of Law and Political Science also announced that his faculty will be ready to arrange an academic meeting on Syrian issues.
