University of Tehran among 300 Top Universities in Academic Ranking of World Universities (Shanghai Jiao Tong University)

In the recent ranking released by ARWU, University of Tehran ranks 201-300 among world universities. This ranking system is one of the most creditable international ranking. Some standards considered by this system includes: Number of graduates and professors with Nobel prize or other important prizes, number of highly cited researchers recognized by Thompson Reuters, number of articles published in science and nature journals, number of articles published in science index and social science index, the annual academic performance, number of students and professors and physical space. In other words (alumni, award, HiCi, Nand S, PUB, and PCP) are the main standards of this ranking system.
