Prof. Mahmoud Nili Ahmadabadi, the President and Prof. Mohammad Bagher Ghahramani, the Vice-President for International Affairs attend the AUAP events (24-30 July)
Prof. Nili Ahmadabadi, the President of University of Tehran accompanied by Prof. Mohammad Bagher Ghahramani, Vice-President for International Affairs, University of Tehran paid a visit to Thailand from 24 to 30 July, 2015.
The program was on the occasion of 20th AUAP Anniversary and 25th Suranaree University of Technology Anniversary. Prof. Nili Ahmadabadi and Prof. Ghahramani were welcomed by Iranian embassy officials and host university at Bangkok airport upon arrival. They were transferred to Sima Thani hotel at SUT, 250 kilometers far from Bangkok. They attended various meetings and events including the followings:

Remarks:
During AUAP events, President of University of Tehran proposed various programs of collaboration which were welcomed and some of them were approved by the AUAP Board Member including: Promoting Student Mobility, Posting the Link and Logo of Member Countries on their Partner Universities' websites, Using the facilities of partner university for the exchange of faculty members, students and staffs, Active participation in sport tournaments, contests, Working on accreditation of degrees, joint degrees.
Moreover during visit to Suranaree University of Technology, the necessity of promotion of mutual cooperation and the experiences of link with industry were emphasized. In visit to Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok both sides expressed their interest to renew the previous MoU, collaboration in the fields of Persian Language, Islamic Studies and Technical and Engineering relations. In Siam University, both sides agreed to exchange ideas and cooperate on joint scientific journals, membership in editorial boards of journals, exchange of students and faculty members and using the facilities of labs.
