A delegation from American Universities Visited University of Tehran
An academic delegation from USA visited University of Tehran and met with Prof. Mahmoud Nili Ahmadabadi, the President of University of Tehran on 8th June, 2015. The delegation included the following people:

- Michael Ballagh, Associate vice President for International Programs, Pritzer College
- Clare Banks, Assistant Director, Center for International Partnerships, IIE
- Ahmad Ezzeddine, Associate Vice President, Educational Outreach and International programs, Wayne State University
- Allan Goodman, President and CEO, Institute of International Education
- Kennegth Holland, Director, Center for International Development, Ball State University
- Daniel Obst, Deputy Vice President for International Partnerships, IIE
- Joanna Regulska, Vice President for Global and International Affairs, Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey
The meeting was held in the presence of Prof. Mohammad Bagher Ghahramani, Vice President for International Affairs, Abdolmajid Eskandari, Director General for Office of International Relations and Afshin Akhoondzadeh Basti, Director General for International Students. Referring to the previous academic cooperations, in this meeting both sides emphasized on the necessity of expanding academic collaboration between the University of Tehran and universities and higher education centers in USA.
