A high ranking delegation from Taiwan led by Mr. Kim Y.C. Tsai, Chairman and CEO of Mobiletron Electronic Co. Ltd met with Prof. Niliahmadabadi, President of University of Tehran.

In the beginning of the meeting, head of Taiwan delegation expressed his congratulation to Prof. Nili Ahmadabadi for his appointment as a new president of UT.

Explaining the scope of activities of UT, President of UT expressed his hope to utilize the academic capacities of Tawian universities in their relation with UT. It was agreed to arrange a workshop by Taiwan side to present the experiences of commercialization of university products. Granting scholarship, dispatching professors , presence of faculty members in either universities were some of the other issues upon which both sides agreed. President of UT also was invited to visit Taiwan and if possible take part in a electronic exhibition from 6 to 9 October, 2014. Also the exchange of student groups in arts and tourism was agreed upon.
