Working Group to Follow Up International Cooperation with China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Malaysia and the Philippines (6)

The meeting of this working group was held in the presence of Prof. Nili Ahmadabadi, President of University of Tehran, Prof. Mohammad Hossein Sarrafzadeh, Vice President for Interntional Affaris  and a number of other UT officials and faculty members on 26 June, 2021.

The focus of the meeting was on China. During the meeting, the members of the working group expressed their expert views on the ways of promoting academic ties with China. Reviewing the already-established collaboration between UT and Chinese universities, academies and research institutes, it was decided to work further on the ways of increase the level of cooperation. 

The main approvals of the meeting included: 

- Developing a data base of UT cooperation with China 

- Performing connstant supervion on the progress of collaboration plans 

- Holding expert meetings to cultivate the ways of cooperation 

- Working to increase the number of  students and faculty members within the framework of mobiliy programs 

- Using the reearrch funds to do joint research projects
