Nadia Maftouni and Slavoj Žižek talk on "Beyond Academic Philosophy"

On June 17, 2021 at 11 a.m./TT, in a Zoom webinar Nadia Maftouni and Slavoj Žižek will talk about "Beyond Academic Philosophy".

Slavoj Žižek is a Slovenian philosopher, a researcher at the Department of Philosophy of the University of Ljubljana Faculty of Arts and international director of the Birkbeck Institute for the Humanities of the University of London.

Nadia Maftouni, an associate professor at University of Tehran, a Yale appointee and on the board of History of Philosophy Quarterly, is a prominent Iranian author and artist.

In the previous colloquiums of the University of Tehran, Nadia Maftouni has talked with distinguished scholars like Bruce Ackerman, Dudley Andrew, David Bordwell, Kristin Thompson, Nicholas Rescher, and Dimitri Gutas.
