French Embassy Cultural Attaché meets with UT Vice President for International Affairs

Ms. Myriam PAVAGEAU ,  conseillère de coopération et d'action culturelle accompanied by  Mr. Jean-Christophe BONTE 'Attaché de coopération scientifique et technique met with Prof. Mohammad Hossein Saffarzadadh , Vice President for International Affairs, University of Tehran.

During this meeting which was held in the presence of Prof. Imam Jomeh , Dean of Aras International Campus , Prof. Moshfegh, Dean of College of Sciences, Prof. Haghighi, Faculty Member of College of Science , Eskandari, Director General for Office of International Affairs and Ms. Ebrahimi, Head of Department for International Cooperation,  and   Ms. Mirbaha from French embassy as well, both sides exchanged ideas on the promotion of academic and cultural ties.

After initial welcome remarks,  both sides reviewed  the previous areas of cooperation and expressed their will to follow up  and put the contents of agreements into effect.  The main topics which were discussed included the followings:

-           Cotutelle programs

-           Joint conferences

-           Short term certificate programs

-           Joint courses of ENSAM

-           Jondishapour project

-           Post doctorate programs

-           Issues related to visa process

-           Facilitating the contact with French universities and academicians 

-           Carin  online collection of French journals  

-           Further interaction with French research and academic institutions
