UT professor participates at Volgograd Dialogue International Forum virtually

Professor Elaheh Koulaee from the Faculty of Law and Political Science participated virtually in “Volgograd Dialogue International Forum”, Volgograd State University, Russia, on October 30, 2020.

As a member of a roundtable on “Eastern Vector: Issues and new opportunities”, she talked about Iran’s foreign policy in Central Asia. Following a discussion on the changes in Iran’s foreign policy after the Islamic Revolution and its new priorities in the region in the post-Cold War era, she underlined that promoting regional cooperation as well as bilateral relations have both been important components of Iran’s policy. Yet, unfortunately, the United States has continuously used all available means to prevent Iran from achieving its natural interest.
