Call for The First International Festival for Students' Social and Cultural Books
Background and goals:
To write and translate books by students is one of the activities that not only helps them for educational purposes, but also brings creativity to their academic activities. In order to address the cultural works and products of students and encourage them to read books, not only as a task and in the field of university textbooks but also in a wide range of literary, cultural, artistic, social and political issues, the Vice President for Culture and Social Affairs of University of Tehran is organizing The First International Festival For Students' Social and Cultural Books.

Venue: University of Tehran, Tehran, Iran- April 2021
Eligibility;
1-Applicants must be a current enrolled student in a university recognized by the Iranian Ministry of Science, Research and Technology.
2- Open to all nationalities, but the submitted book must be in one of these three languages: Persian, English, Arabic
3- Submitted books must be published between 20 February 2019 and 18 February 2021. The applicant must be a student within the date of publication of the book.
4-The books which are published in Persian must have an official license from the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Iran. The books written in English or Arabic must be published as hard copy by a recognized publisher.
5- There is no limitation for number of submitted books per author, both translated and original written books are acceptable for one author.
6- Books with more than one author or translator will receive only one prize if selected.
7- A copy or PDF file should be sent to the Festival Secretariat before the deadline.
8- Translated books must be submitted with the original version.
9- Publishers are eligible to submit their publications authorized by students.
