A Memorial ceremony was held to honor the University of Tehran victims in Tehran plane crash

On the 21^st of January, 2020, a memorial ceremony was held at the venue of University of Teheran mosque at the main campus to honor the memory of UT students and graduates who lost their lives on January 8, in the tragic crash of Flight PS752 in Iran.

In this event, a great number of professors and students, administrative staffs  and officials including Prof. Mahmoud Nili Ahmadabadi, President of University of Tehran and Pirouz Hanachi, the Mayor of Tehran and a number of representatives of the Islamic Consultative Assembly(Parliament) attended and the families of the victims as well came together to mourn the loss of these brilliant minds.

This tragic event was a huge loss of talent for academic community and it is important to remember this tragedy, and those who lost their lives.
