A Japanese scholar at University of Tehran

Since April 2018, Yoshiaki TOKUNAGA, a Ph.D. student of University of Tokyo has studied as a visiting student at the University of Tehran within the framework of mutual MoU signed between the two universities.

He has conducted research on the history of parliamentary system in Iran during the Iranian Constitutional Revolution and after that at University of Tehran, National Library of I.R. of Iran and Majles Library as well.

University of Tokyo has a Center for Middle East Studies which is active on various areas related to the Middle East.

Given the internationalization objectives of University of Tehran, Mr. TOKUNAGA has attended many classes at University of Tehran as a research student and has helped with the promotion of bilateral academic ties between the two universities in association and support of Prof. Morimoto, a faculty member of the Institute of Advanced Studies on Asia, University of Tokyo.
