International working groups of the University of Tehran

In January 2018, based on the instruction of Prof. Mahmoud Nili Ahmadabadi, President of University of Tehran and proposal of Prof. Mohamamd Bagher Ghahramani, Vice President for International Affairs in consultation with the UT academic body and inclusion of the records of international activities, 8 International Working Group were formed with the membership of members from the UT eminent faculty members and administrative officials.

The purpose of the working groups is to establish a specialized platform for sharing experiences and giving expert advice in establishing and developing academic ties with different universities, higher education institutes and research centers throughout the world within the framework of one of the strategic objective of UT which is Internationalization; while keeping an eye on UT international priorities.

The advisory working groups hold regular meetings and exchange ideas on the ways of promoting the international program as a mechanism to enhance the quality of the UT local and international plans and reinforce the UT presence at international scene as a symbol of Iranian higher education.
