DFG Research Grant to UT Scholars Approved

The proposal for scientific cooperation of academicians and researchers of University of Tehran in association with researchers of  RWTH Aachen University and University of  Cologne, has been successfully approved for an initiation grant from the German Research Foundation(DFG).

In doing so, Dr. Somayeh Fadaei Nezhad and Dr. Simin Karimain of the School of Architecture, College of Fine Arts, University of Tehran will conduct research on “ Interchanges/Translational Architectures Modernism-Intermediaries and Products of Iranian –German Exchange in the Early 20^th Century and the Enhancement of Joint Heritage”.

It is hoped that such a research to provide a platform for future conservation and revitalization pojects of Iranian-German joint architectural Structures and monuments in Iran and Germany
