German scholar visits University of Tehran

Dr. Kim André Vanselow is visiting the University of Tehran for five days within the Erasmus+ exchange programme of the European Union.

He is a degree programme developer from Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg, Bavaria, Germany. Apart from his administrative position he is also a post-doctoral research fellow at the Institute of Geography at the same university. His main research focus is on Biogeography, Remote Sensing and Statistics in Ecology.

During his five day stay in Teheran he meets with administrative staff from the International Office and with researchers from the Faculty of Geography, the Faculty of Environment, and the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources to talk about the currently running exchange programmes and research cooperation but also to discuss future ideas and opportunities for further academic cooperation.
