Special thanks go to Dr. Amouei, faculty member, Prof. Athanasios Papathanasiou, Head of Chemical Engineering Department and also to Prof. Charles Surya, Dean of School of Engineering for their help extended to my visit.

During the visit:

1- On Wednesday 27 March, 2019, I have attended CART conference ceremony chaired by Dr Amouei where he has presented his outstanding research outputs.

2- On Thursday 28 March, 2019, at 12 am, I have delivered a general talk on student recruitment; challenges and strategieswhere the number of officers, faculty members and students were attended from NU followed by discussions.

3- On Friday 29 march, 2019 at 12 am, I have delivered a technical talk on Modeling of Multi-Phase Flowsat the department of Chemical Engineering with the presence of faculty members and students followed by discussions.

4- I have also had meeting with Dean of School of Engineering Head of Chemical Engineering Department discussing collaborations between the university of Tehran and NU.

5- I have also had a meeting with Dr. Yerbol Sarbassov, Postdoctoral scholar, and visited his setup. This is a promising setup and this would allow the department to focus on co-firing and waste to resources management. He was familiar with our activities in fluidization and we have also discussed to start collaboration in the future on his projects and those in our laboratory.

6- Separate meetings were also held with Dr. Boris Golman, faculty member at Chemical Engineering Department and his team members (RA and Postdoc) discussing his project and application of CFDDEM.

I also talked about the readiness of my team (Authors of the following book) to conduct a workshop in the coming months for those interested to CFD-DEM at College level for all interested.
