Italian delegation from Spaineza University of Rome, Italy visits UT

A high ranking delegation from Sapienza University of Rome led by Prof. Carlo G. Cereti, Delegate of the Rector for International Cooperation visited UT 6 of March, 2019. The delegation comprised of Dr. Graziella Gaglione - Head of International Mobility Office, Sapienza University of Rome initially met with Prof. Karimi Doostan, Dean of The Faculty of Literature and Humanities and a number of faculty members and exchanged ideas on the mutual cooperation. After that, the Italian delegation met with Prof. Ghahramani, Vice President for International Affairs, UT. Given the MoU between the two universities and opportunities available through various projects of EU, both sides agreed upon working on utilizing the concerned supports and promote the already established ties.

In this meeting, which was held with the participation of Prof. Zamani, Head of President’s Office, Abdolmajid Eskandari, Director General, Office of International Relations, the parties exchanged ideas on dual degree programs, Erasmus Plus projects, Italian and Persian language in-service trainings, European studies, faculty and students research stays, and TA programs and other areas of interest. 

It is worth noting during the presence of delegation in Iran, they also met with Dr. Neisy, Director General for Research of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, officials of Allameh Tabatabaei University, Tarbiat Modares University, Institute for Humanities and Cultural Studies, and Dr. Ahmadi, Director General at ICHHTO.
