A Japanese researcher visited University of Tehran

On 2-14 February, 2018, Naofumi ABE, project assistant professor of University of Tokyo paid a visit to University of Tehran within the framework of mutual MoU signed between the two universities.

In his recent visit, he conducted research on family history of Iran during the Qajar period at University of Tehran , National Library of I.R. of Iran and Majlis Library as well.

University of Tokyo has a Center for Middle East Studies which is active on various areas related to the Middle East.

Given the internalization objectives of University of Tehran, Dr. ABE has frequently visited Iran and has attended many classes at University of Teheran both as a research student or professor and has helped with the promotion of bilateral academic ties between the two universities in association and support of Prof. Morimoto, a faculty member of the Institute of Advanced Studies on Asia, University of Tokyo.
