The Presence of Iranian Humanoid Robot, Surena III in the Automatica 2016 , Munich , Germany

The robot, built by School of Mechanics, University of Tehran was received warmly by international visitors.  Prof. Aghil Yousefi-koma, Deputy Dean of College of Engineering for Research and Head of Center of Advanced Systems and Technologies stated that participation in the Atomatica 2016 was a good opportunity to establish ties with international companies and German universities and to learn about the EU capacities in the area of robotic and industrial automation.  He further added that some negotiations were made at the sideline of the event for the development and commercialization of The Surena III.

Automatica is an international trade fair for automation technology, which takes place once a year at the fair in Munich in the heart of Europe's largest market for Robotics and Automation. The Automatica is the first international trade fair, where people can see all segments of the robotics and automation division. The Automatica in Munich took place from 21. June to 24. June 2016.
